We had some ideas for our Travel Plans and what we wanted to do. Carrie helped us make them come true and made it very easy for us to enjoy our whole trip without any issues. The service was great and her knowledge of the area's we had gone were spot on. We will be using her again for our needs.

Carrie helped us plan a summer vacation to France and Italy for five people with diverse interests. Based on her recommendation we added Czech Republic to the mix which turned out to be one of our favorite destinations. She kept the preferences of adults and teens in mind and her assistance with logistics and travel transfers was invaluable. I enjoyed working with her and will do so again!

Our trip exceeded our expectations. Carrie was quick to help at any moment and made rebooking flights after they were cancelled or delayed easy! we will definitely use her services again. Carrie took our pretty basic request (warm, quick to get to from Chicago, and great accommodations) and quickly found us a few options, including a resort which ended up being a perfect fit. She helped us quickly and easily book everything. We were able to go from wanting to be warm (we are in Chicago in the winter after all!) to booking a Mexican get-away in just a couple of days. And with limited work - outside of reviewing the options that fit our request - on our part. Great experience working with Carrie and great trip!

We had a fantastic trip and I would highly recommend using Carrie Mahoney in the future as an agent. She was very informative, friendly, knowledgable and very quick to respond. The location was lovely. The service was the best I've seen in a long time and the staff at the Hard Rock seemed "happy to serve". We also were given a $500 room credit which allowed us to use the spa at the resort. The spa was not a service but an experience. We just returned from our wonderful 8 day vacation to Scotland, planned by our adviser Carrie Mahoney. Carrie did a great job selecting out hotels, plus getting us the most amazing upgrade to a luxury suite in Glasgow. She had insider advice about which museums and places of interest to visit, and was very helpful with any and all emergency problems we encountered. Carrie arranged a few day trips for us and each of them was enjoyable due to the location we were visiting but also because of the guide/driver she arranged. The guide knew so much about the area we visited and was a safe driver on some very narrow roads! We were totally satisfied with Carrie's arrangements!

Carrie was so helpful setting up our honeymoon! The hotel she found was perfect and relaxing. She set everything up for us, all we had to do was ask and she got everything done! She was always willing to rework plans if we decided to change something and she had great suggestions too. She even mailed is a full itinerary for the trip which made travel and check ins simple. We usually plan our trips without using a travel agent, but after working with Carrie-we are hooked! She planned a wonderful three day trip to NYC for two couples including a New York newbie. Her ideas of what to do and what tours to take were spot on. Her choice of hotel, West House, was perfect! We enjoyed this trip so much that we are working with her on a 12 day trip to Italy in December. My husband and I both agree that it's nice to have someone who we trust and who really customizes a trip to fit our needs and interests.

My husband and I took our adult sons and daughter-in-law on a vacation as their Christmas present. Carrie listened carefully to all the wishes and deal-breakers among this group of opinionated individuals and offered several options. In the end, we chose Maui. Although Carrie had not been there herself, she researched options extensively, including consulting at length with colleagues who work on the island and developed a great plan that met everyone's interests and needs. Everything she booked for us went smoothly. Our reservations were always confirmed and we always had whatever we needed to enjoy the activity (documents, transportation, clothing, etc.) because Carrie had checked it out and prepared us well. When we couldn't get exactly the lodging we wanted, she booked the next best thing, put us on a waitlist and checked in regularly with the hotel. In the end, we were able to change to our first-choice lodging. Carrie goes the extra mile.

Carrie was absolutely wonderful - through multiple trip changes and delays because of my ever-changing schedule. She was patient, responsive and very creative in coming up with things to do as my parameters changed. What I liked best: she really listened to me. I told her up front what was most important to me, and she delivered. She was thorough and competent - I LOVED LOVED LOVED not having to worry about a single thing. The apartment/hotel she picked for me could not have been better - it was centrally located (seriously - a block away from Notre Dame!!!). Carrie once again planned the perfectly pitched trip for my family! This time just for my husband and me on our 25th Anniversary! She does an absolutely phenomenal job of hearing what you want out of your trip, and then tailoring your lodging and activities to meet your goals...and the ones you didn't even know you had! Carrie helped me plan a Caribbean cruise for summer vacation. I wanted to take my two daughters (12 and 14) somewhere fun, but I didn't want to rent a beach house for a week. I had decided on a cruise, but wanted help planning. Carrie helped me select the best accommodations for our family. Everything was set up for me. All I had to do was sign in. We just returned from our trip. All three of us had an amazing time and we now have some very special memories of the places we visited. I'm ready to start planning the next trip.

Carrie put together an amazing fall New England weekend getaway for my wife and I. It was perfect.

Carrie helped my husband and me plan a trip to Barcelona and Seville to celebrate our milestone birthdays. She booked the flights, in-country transfers, hotels, excursions and tours and provided information on restaurants, leaving us to book those at our request. The Barcelona food walking tour that we booked somewhat skeptically at her insistence ("you foodies will love this") turned out to be one of our favorite events of the trip. Carrie isn't just booking clients into a standard tourist itinerary, she asks lots of questions, listens carefully and makes suggestions based on your expressed interests, preferred style of travel and budget. When our hotel transfer was mixed up because of a very late plane, she was cheerfully available by phone and willing to help us sort things out. We are Carrie Mahoney fans for life.

Carrie was incredible. From the first contact through planning our departure city, connecting flights in Europe to the smallest of details on preferred times of day, arrival times and accommodations she was spot on. We had an issue at one of our lodging choices and in a matter of 4 hours the GM of the ownership was asking us to breakfast (Barcelona) taking us to another property that was over the top. She stated that she received an email from our Virtuoso Agent Carrie and given she and the firm are their best partners they wanted to be certain we were more than satisfied. That statement explained it all as to who I was dealing with in Carrie. If you are planning travel and do not have familiarity in the countries you are visiting, call Carrie as she has significant experience and saved us more than a few times while abroad. As a very discerning business traveler I expect the highest and best experience when traveling with my family. Carrie made that happen expertly.

Very easy Carrie takes care of everything

Carrie was very responsive before, during and after our trip. She came up with great ideas before we left, such as flying on Virgin Atlantic because of its better premium economy seating, and found a fabulous place in the Cotswolds for us to stay that reflected my mother's love of gardening. (This was an 80th birthday trip for her.) She helped us during the trip when we were arriving late to our rented flat and when there was a minor repair needed. She was also very helpful with trip insurance. Carrie also checked in with us when we returned; I would highly recommend her.

Carrie is great to work with! She's really good at handling the scenario we approached her with, which was the open-ended idea that we simply wanted to go to "that part of the world". She asked a lot of good probing questions and had tons of suggestions and insight, so we were ultimately able to confidently decide on a trip that was perfect for our family. Carrie travels a lot so you know you're getting the dual benefit of her research as well as her actual personal knowledge of what works and what doesn't. Our trip to Italy was amazing and was so relaxing since she handled EVERY detail for us. She seems to really know her stuff so we felt confident with her guidance from beginning to end!
