I am certified by the Hawaii Board of Tourism as an Hawaiian Island Specialist and by the Switzerland Board of Tourism as a Switzerland Specialist and I am also certified by the Italian National Tourist Board as an Italy Specialist. I am certified by Rail Europe as an European Rail Specialist, a Switzerland Rail Expert, and a France Rail Expert. I love rail travel and have traveled extensively by train.

My love of travel began when Augusto Odone, father of Lorenzo and creator of Lorenzo's Oil, invited me to his family's 13th century villa in the tiny village of Gamalero, in Allessandria province, Piedmont region of Italy. His son, Francesco had been restoring the Villa to its original grandeur. I tried not to let my imagination run wild about going to his Italian Villa but it was truly one of the most beautiful travel experiences of my life and that is when I fell in love with travel.
