Alyse Bertagnoli

Fate intervened when Alyse discovered the travel profession. Living in Italy for several years and traversing almost all of Europe, her romance with the region inspired her to pursue a career that allowed her to share her passion as a freelance travel planner in Verona.  Becoming a travel advisor, she regularly returns to her beloved Italy to visit and search out the next great experience to share with her clients.

Alyse’s trips seek to combine tourism with cultural immersion. The highlight of any trip for Alyse is the moment when a tourist becomes a traveler, fearlessly exploring a destination. She knows Europe as the locals do and works to give her clients an authentic experience during their trips. Want a day of wine tasting? She knows just the place. How about a cooking demonstration and dinner with a countryside nonna using ingredients from her garden? Just let her know if you have any dietary restrictions. Alyse graduated from the University of Chicago Urbana-Champaign in the school of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences concentrating in Agribusiness Markets and Management.  She has a certificate in Global Business Culture with Area Specialization in the European Union (Italy). In her free time, Alyse enjoys cooking family recipes passed down from the friends she made in her travels. She even attended the institute of CSF Stimmatini in Verona, Italy where she earned a certificate in professional pastry making.
