Choosing a travel adviser can be a daunting task - How do you know if they have the right expertise? How do you know if you're getting a good value? How do you know they will listen to your specific needs (and not their own)? How do you know if you're like-minded?
You're making a big decision and it's important to rest easy knowing you made the right choice.
Much of my career (prior to travel) was spent in professional services working with Fortune 500 companies. I look at service standards in a different light than your typical travel agency. I don't believe in a retail turn-n-churn approach. I get to know my clients. I listen to their goals, interests and dreams. Once armed with this information, I get to work designing a trip that's all your own. With no surprises! And memories that will last a lifetime.
If this "Piques" your interest, I would welcome a chance to talk with you about your travel dreams.
Thanks for your consideration.
Here are a few things about me you might find interesting:
My Favorite Clients:
I love working with clients who are curious about life, enjoy authentic experiences & cultures and feel travel is a fulfilling & enriching part of their lives.
My Favorite Travel Destinations:
Belize – The worlds 2nd largest barrier reef, stunning Maya pyramids rising up through the jungle canopy and low tourist density make this hidden gem in the Caribbean a place not to miss before it becomes discovered.
Hawaii – Each island offers a completely different experience from
volcanoes to rainforests to beaches to whales. You have all the comforts
of vacationing in the US. And the food, people and culture are amazing. I can show you the secrets of hidden Hawaii.
New Zealand – The South Island is one of the most beautiful places on the planet – Rocky Mountains meet the ocean. I've never had a client disappointed in their experience.
Africa - Most people think you can visit Africa once and cross it off your bucket list. The truth is after your first visit you'll already be thinking about how to come back. The diversity of each country offers experiences beyond your imagination.
On a trip to Alaska, my wife Linda and I had the opportunity to visit Brooks Falls in Alaska’s Katmai National Park. This is a famous remote site in Katmai where grizzly bears fish for Salmon. After a 30 minute bear safety program we were escorted to a viewing platform next to the falls. We were captivated by the fishing techniques these huge bears used to catch salmon in their mid-air flight over the falls. My Most Embarrassing Travel Moment:
On a trip to Costa Rica, I decided to exchange some money at a local
bank. It seemed like a great opportunity to test out my high school
Spanish skills. I walked up to the window and proudly proclaimed “I’d
like some cojones, por favor.” For some reason, my request was greeted
with uncontrollable laughter. I was dumbfounded until my brother-in-law
politely pointed out “colones” would have been a more appropriate choice
of words instead of inadvertently referring to male anatomy.
