Robin Van Zak

Prior to coming to Protravel International, I had worked in several agencies with different specialties, corporate and leisure. I also created and escorted "Robin's Reasonable Rendezvous" tours.

I have done two 18 month trips around the world and have been to more than 100 countries. Some of my favorite travel memories include trekking the gorillas in Uganda and sitting next to a Silverback gorilla for 10 minutes, sailing on the Zaire Riverboat and then hunting with Pygmies in Zaire (now the Congo), traveling all through New Zealand, renting a houseboat in Kashmir, seeing Eastern Europe just before the wall came down - so many wonderful memories.

Travel has changed my life and taught me that people are the same wherever you go and if you treat them with respect, they will respect you right back.

It's the only thing I ever wanted to do. I love speaking with people about travel and try to find something personal in everyone's lives to make their travel journey that much more special.
