Joan Lappin

     I must have inherited the “Travel Gene” from my mother whose quest for knowledge and adventure never waned, even with advanced age.  As a child, I was taken on wonderful family vacations, but mostly I  remember the tales of my parents’ travels to far and exotic places.

     So in 1986 I decided to pursue my dream, started working in the travel business, and never looked back.  I have been so fortunate to have experienced travel on 6 continents (sorry Antarctica, I HATE being cold!) that has truly enriched my life.

     Likewise, I love working with clients to help them fulfill their dreams as well.  No two clients are alike so no two trips are alike.  Everyone has their own expectations of how they want to experience a destination and that’s what makes my job so interesting.  I am also privileged to have the help and support of our Virtuoso suppliers who can make the magic happen.

     So whether it’s a honeymoon, family vacation, romantic getaway or multi-generational trip, big ship, small ship or river boat, adventure or luxury, variety is what it’s all about.
