I had the perfect childhood of growing up in Zimbabwe, what was then known as Rhodesia. I qualified as a Registered Nurse and studied midwifery in London, UK., went on to live in Switzerland where my children were born. Following years of exciting travel to many places we moved to the United States.
Little did I realize that growing up on the receiving end of United Nations sanctions would hinder my ability to work in the US as an RN. But, it wasn't long before new friends were asking me to plan trips around Europe for them and then asking to join us on our travels back to Africa and so I fell into the travel world; loved it and continue to do so.
Caring for a traveler carries with it the same importance and love as caring for those that are sick with the ultimate joy of a happy return and a bounce back to perfect health.
