Shawna Owen

Shawna has been a passionate traveler since her early years when she lived with her family in Istanbul, Turkey. After receiving her BA from Colby College in Art History and French, and her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Shawna spent 15 years as a management consultant. In 2008, Shawna joined forces with her father, Tony Huffman. As CEO and President of Huffman Travel, Shawna’s specialties lie in upscale vacation planning for families. As a mother of two, Shawna has traveled to 50+ countries and recognizes the importance of family time.  As a result, Shawna ensures every detail is taken care of for her clients. Shawna believes, “time is our most precious asset” and enjoys helping her clients make the most of theirs by curating custom-made experiences.Shawna lives in Chicago with her husband and children. She is an active member of The Joffrey Women’s Board, the Guild of the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
