Kathryn Benn

I have worked in the luxury travel industry for over 40 years, and continue to create, adapt and fashion travel experiences for the novice or expert traveler, and everything in-between. I spent eleven years at Butterfield & Robinson, one of the world’s most esteemed and recognizable brands, and a year in bustling Hong Kong with Abercrombie & Kent. I incorporated my own firm, K. Benn Travel on my return from Hong Kong in 1989 and haven’t looked back since.

I have had the opportunity to travel to over 140 countries worldwide and all seven continents, and bring this hands-on, in the field experience to the workplace where I specialize in bespoke, luxury international private travel. Adventure and expedition cruises are my personal favorite trips to custom craft, for guests who desire a profound and richer experience while traveling.

I believe that travelers want things that are familiar yet undiscovered, trending yet hard to find but also warmly reassuring. I work with clients to understand all their needs and interests then go about creating the best trip so that nothing is left to chance. I act as a personal concierge not only in preparing itineraries but also when guests are traveling.
