Jay Mandelker

Because of my never ending passion for travel, I entered the travel business, professionally, 21 years ago to share with others, the joy and romance of discovering new places. The only continent, I've yet to visit, is Antarctica. My certifications accrue due to my penchant to learn. I've spent over 150 nights at sea on various cruise lines, have flown (myself) single engine airplanes all the way up to the newest Boeing 787 Dreamliner (but as a passenger only, shucks). My ham radio hobby has let me speak with people around the world, but traveling lets me speak with them in person! Speaking several languages is certainly an asset and has enabled me to get into places where most tourists don't. (I spent an hour teaching geography, in Spanish, to a class in the Galapagos Islands.)

My community service work includes many years as a Cub and Scout Master, Ski Patroller, Lodge President, Condo board president and more. As a well rounded, kind individual, who's a good listener I should be your travel concierge.
