Cunard Line

Cunard Line

2015 is a very significant year as we celebrate the 175th Anniversary of our first sailing in 1840. We have a number of special events and cruises planned – including a re-creation of the first journey from Liverpool to Halifax and Boston. In addition to our celebratory cruises, 2015 promises to offer a tempting selection of some exciting maiden ports, the addition of Istanbul as a start or end port for our Mediterranean cruises and of course the events to mark our remarkable anniversary — culminating with the three Queens in Liverpool on 25 May and Queen Mary 2’s recreation of Britannia’s first Transatlantic Crossing on 4 July 2015, an event that will take place exactly 175 years to the day after the original event. Why travel with Cunard? • Guests enjoy a rich heritage of thoroughly British ocean liner travel that spans nearly two centuries. • Great opportunity to dress up a step out for an evening of dancing, theatre, a lavish formal ball and/or live musical entertainment. • Cunard’s legendary, famous White Star Service. • The youngest luxury fleet at sea on three of the most magnificent ships afloat – Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.

Insider Tip

Our cruises don’t just offer the chance to relax, but to also engage your mind. Hear interesting and enlightening speakers from the worlds of art, literature, astronomy, dance and history.

Take a trip on the last great ocean liner

If you like being at sea ,the QM2 is worthy of at least one voyage. It is a remarkable ship that everyone should experience once. That being said, unless you are traveling in Grill Class, it is a mass market product comparable to other cruises except for the ship itself. A crossing on the QM2 should be on your bucket list.

It was a great cruise because of the service, cleanliness, and quality of food. We would be happy to sail on Cunard again.

This was a "bucket list" cruise for us. We embarked with high expectations and were not disappointed. Cunard knows how to provide the ambience that leads to an enjoyable cruise. The cruise itinerary was excellent, as were the shore excursions. The Queen Elizabeth crew was cordial and competent. The service in the Princess Grill lived up to Cunard's "White Glove" standards, and the food was truly "Five-Star" in quality.
