 2010 NATJA Annual Awards
The North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA) has announced the winners of its 19th annual 2010 NATJA Annual Awards, a competition honoring the “best of the best” of travel writing, photography, and promotion for the travel and tourism industry.
Not only did NATJA award the GOLD for Best Travel Magazine to VIRTUOSO LIFE, it also recognized VIRTUOSO LIFE with the GRAND PRIZE for Best Overall Publication.
The competition drew over 500 submissions, from over 50 publications, including newsstand powerhouses like Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Afar, and National Geographic Traveler as well as custom titles like Ensemble Vacations.

 2010 Clarion Awards
The Clarion awards, sponsored by The Association for Women in Communications, symbolize excellence across all types of marketing. This year’s completion drew entries from 30 states and three countries. Past winners have included, Newsweek, SELF Magazine and GLAMOUR.

 VIRTUOSO LIFE continues its award-winning streak with a 2009 Gold Eddie FOLIO award for “Best Consumer Travel Magazine”. The FOLIO awards competition is the largest of its kind, this year drawing more than 2,000 entries from a who’s-who of well-known consumer magazines. Other gold winners included Time, Newsweek, Food & Wine, Field & Stream, Harper’s Bazaar, Golf Digest, and Entertainment Weekly. This honor comes on the heels of another big win for the publication last month, a Lowell Thomas award for “Best Travel Magazine.”
Top honors in the travel category went to:

Silver: National Geographic Traveler
Bronze: Travel + Leisure
